POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Program Management Director your roles and responsibilities will include:
The Program Management Director will lead the program management function across all three Power and Data businesses. This position is responsible for driving consistency in program management processes, tools, and best practices while ensuring programs meet cost, schedule, performance, revenue, and profitability objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and oversee program management strategies and objectives across the division.
- Lead the program management function across multiple business units.
- Directly manage and develop program management personnel and senior program leaders.
- Establish program baselines that support execution and proposal margin targets.
- Develop and implement standardized program management processes, tools, and best practices.
- Build, mentor, and develop senior program management leadership.
- Establish performance metrics, dashboards, and management tools to monitor program effectiveness.
- Review underperforming programs and develop mitigation and recovery plans.
- Partner with program leadership to drive successful recovery and execution.
- Position program management as a contributor to revenue growth and operating profitability.
- Work collaboratively within a matrixed organization and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with customers at the executive level.
QUALIFICATIONS

Program Management Director would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Engineering, Science, or a related field.
- MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of program management experience.
- Demonstrated leadership and people-management experience.
- Experience developing functional strategies, processes, tools, and best practices.
- Experience leading within a matrixed organization.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and influencing skills.
- PMP certification or equivalent.
- Knowledge of recognized program-management standards and government and commercial contract types.
- Demonstrated experience managing customers at the executive level.
- Experience in Aerospace & Defense or another highly regulated industry is preferred.
