Program Implementation Specialist – Help Advance the Health Center Movement

Your Role: 

Under the leadership of the Director of Programs, the Program Implementation Specialist will:

  • Design, facilitate, and evaluate collaborative learning opportunities that foster knowledge sharing, peer connection, and best practice adoption
  • Leverage opportunities to enable health centers to level up by developing and implementing new programs, workshops, and other support 
  • Coach and support health center staff as they apply new knowledge, implement improvements, and progress through learning programs
  • Lead initiatives that introduce transformative healthcare ideas and practices to the health centers
  • Manage assigned grant program initiatives, including planning, implementation, reporting, monitoring deliverables, and overseeing consultants or contractors
  • Participate in the preparation of grant applications or other funding proposals, as needed for additional funding, to support this position and other integrated health initiatives

What We Are Looking For: 

  • Master’s Degree in Health Administration, Public Health, or other related field
  • Experience in program planning, project implementation, process improvement, coaching, or facilitation.
  • Demonstrated ability to take assigned work from ideation through execution.
  • Experience managing multiple programs simultaneously, including overseeing consultants, project deadlines, and varying program responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both frontline clinicians and senior leadership
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-driven, with strong follow-through and accountability.
  • Ability to analyze information, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate ideas into actionable plans.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently while collaborating across teams


Highly Valued (Not Required) Experience

  • Experience in project implementation
  • Experience in or knowledge of Federally Qualified Health Centers
  • Experience in vetting vendors
  • Clinical background / experience
