Description

We are seeking a Program Evaluation Lead to support public health programs through program evaluation, data collection, data analysis, reporting, and quality improvement initiatives. The Program Evaluation Lead will work closely with management, program teams, and internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement evaluation strategies, monitor data quality, interpret findings, and incorporate evaluation results into quality improvement activities.

Job Responsibilities

Develop and implement program evaluation and quality improvement strategies, tools, and data collection plans.
Coordinate evaluation and data collection activities across program teams.
Develop and implement surveys, focus groups, stakeholder interviews, and other evaluation methodologies.
Produce periodic program reports and assist management with data interpretation.
Analyze program data and publicly available data sources to identify trends and outcomes.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual data integrity checks.
Troubleshoot data collection and data entry issues and ensure compliance with established protocols.
Maintain databases, evaluation documentation, records, and data collection procedure manuals.
Coordinate evaluation tools, data collection, data entry, and reporting activities.
Train and support program staff on evaluation processes, metrics, data collection, and quality improvement practices.
Integrate program evaluation and data analysis into program planning, reporting, and staff meetings.
Work with program teams to incorporate evaluation findings into quality improvement plans.
Monitor implementation of quality improvement plans and related activities.
Stay current with public health research, evaluation methodologies, and best practices.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory organizations and academic partners.
Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous quality improvement.
Handle confidential information in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree or equivalent work experience in Public Health, Community Development, Evaluation, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience developing and implementing program evaluation strategies, including surveys, focus groups, and stakeholder interviews.
At least 3 years of experience analyzing data and developing reports using available data sources.

Desired Skills and Experience

Experience with complex data collection, data entry, and data analysis.
Experience conducting comparative analysis using publicly available data sources.
Knowledge of public health research and program evaluation methodologies.
Experience with quality improvement initiatives and data-driven program planning.
Strong Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with online data collection and data entry systems.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines.
Ability to lead and influence teams without formal authority.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively across multiple programs.
Ability to work with individuals with varying levels of technical and computer proficiency.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow established policies and procedures.

Work Location & Residency Requirement
Important: Due to updated requirements for contract positions, candidates must be residents of Tennessee or surrounding areas and must be able to commute to the assigned office on a regular basis.
