Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH): A private, not-for-profit, 772-bed healthcare system serving a 17-county region in North Florida and South Georgia. TMH provides highly sophisticated tertiary and quaternary cardiovascular services, including structural heart interventions, advanced electrophysiology, and open-heart surgery.
Southern Medical Group, P.A. (SMG), a multi-specialty physician group providing services through a Professional Services Agreement (PSA) and Co-Management Agreement, has partnered with TMH to establish the Heart & Vascular Institute (HVI). The HVI operates under a well-defined governance structure and strategic plan that aligns clinical, operational, and physician leadership to advance cardiovascular care across the region.
Collectively, the HVI is home to one of the most advanced and highest-volume heart programs in the Southeast. Serving as a true regional epicenter for cardiovascular innovation, the HVI delivers an integrated, patient-centered cardiovascular program focused on expanding access, advancing quality, driving innovation, and improving outcomes throughout North Florida and South Georgia.
