Department Office of Strategic Outreach and Recruitment | Anne Spencer Daves College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences Responsibilities Responsible for operational management and administrative direction of three areas: communications, recruitment, and event management. Oversees writing, editing, media design, photography, and event planning to align and articulate the core values of the College for both internal and external audiences, including but not limited to faculty, students, staff, alumni. Oversees the conception, writing, design, and dissemination of public relations, marketing, and recruitment material to support all programs within the College. Serves as a liaison between the College, University Communications, and the Division of University Advancement to ensure participation and awareness of strategic initiatives that benefit the College, including fundraising, public relations, etc. Serves on university-wide communications committees. Provides direction and supervision of media staff, event staff, and OPS/interns for the unit. Oversees and ultimately bears final responsibility for their work. Oversees and support programs and departments with their own communication efforts across various platforms. Provides creative consultancy, direction, and production for all the Colleges departments, programs, research centers, and units. Serves on the Deans Leadership Team participating in strategic planning, branding, and develops plans to improve the Colleges position in national standing. Serves as a liaison between the Office of Communication and departments. Oversight of the Annes College websites, including but not limited to, monitoring, improving, and updating the websites when needed. Consults and works with faculty and staff on the development of Annes College web pages. Qualifications Bachelors degree and six years of experience related to media, communications, and/or marketing services; or a high school diploma/equivalent and ten years of related experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to ten years.) Preferred Qualifications Experience in communications, recruitment, and event management. Anticipated Salary Range The anticipated starting salary for this position is in the range of $70,000's to mid $80,000's, commensurate with experience and education.
