The Program Director of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) provides leadership and manages the international CPE program, ensuring compliance with ACPE standards.
They assess international ministry needs, develop curriculum, supervise students, and foster relationships with academic and church partners, primarily in Latin America, requiring bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
Responsibilities include maintaining accreditation, collaborating with system leadership, leading CPE units, contracting educators, and supporting pastoral education initiatives.
They oversee program administration, promote creative, student-centered learning, conduct virtual CPE sessions, and ensure timely student evaluations.
The role involves extensive travel and requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Divinity or Theology, certification as an ACPE Educator, and significant experience as a healthcare chaplain and educator.
Full-time, 5-day schedule.
