Program Coordinator – Storefront Improvement Program (SIP)

Express Employment Professionals in Philadelphia is working with the City of Philadelphia to hire a Project coordinator to work with small businesses and manage programs and initiatives that improve the environment for businesses in Philadelphias neighborhoods. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable managing a high volume of applications.

This position is in person, 5 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviewing application and reimbursement packages for completeness and accuracy
• Verifying estimates, invoices, proof of payment, photographs, and other supporting documentation
• Communicating professionally with business owners, contractors, and program partners to obtain missing information
• Maintaining accurate case notes and application statuses in internal database.
• Organizing electronic records and helping move applications through the review and reimbursement processes

Qualifications

We are seeking someone with experience in grants, program administration, reimbursements, case management or a similar area. Strong written communication, customer service, Microsoft Office, and database-management skills are important. Experience reviewing construction estimates or contractor invoices would be helpful but is not required.
