Position Summary/ Department Summary:

The Department of Otolaryngology (ORL) and Communication Enhancement (CCE) is seeking a dedicated Program Coordinator to lead daily clinic operations. This vital role drives operational excellence and optimizes the patient journey to ensure a seamless, top-tier clinical experience. The position provides direct, essential support to three specialized areas: the Augmentative Communication Program (ACP), the Autism Language Program (ALP), and the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) program.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates activities and daily operations of a program.
  • Daily oversight of complex, intake driven, consult and follow-up appointment requests within ACP workqueues.
  • Assists with appointment scheduling and provider template management.
  • Confers with staff and others to provide technical advice, provide problem solving assistance and answer questions about the program and its goals. Refers inquiries to others as needed.           
  • May prepare or assists in the preparation of periodic reports and records on program activities, progress, status, or other special reports for management or outside agencies.            
  • May review applications or other program documents in conjunction with supervisor to determine acceptance or make decisions pertaining to program.
  • May assist in the coordination of recruitment efforts.     
  • Drafts written communication and promotional literature.   
  • May assist in planning workshops, meetings or conferences, coordinates logistics, scheduling, and participant communications.
  • Interacts and maintains liaison with staff, faculty and outside/community agencies in facilitating program objectives.

 

Level 1 — Program Coordinator I
Experience: One year of relevant work experience required.

Education:  Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required.  Bachelor’s degree preferred.

 

Level 2 — Program Coordinator II
Experience: Two years of relevant work experience required.

Education:  Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required.  Bachelor’s degree preferred.


Salary Range: $49,275.20-$78,832.00 Annual
