Job Title Program Coordinator of Health Occupations (12-month position) Job Description
The Coordinator of Health Occupations provides leadership, coordination, administration, and oversight for Health Occupations programs. The Coordinator is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, evaluating, and continuously improving Health Occupations programs, including but not limited to Nursing Assistant I, Nursing Assistant II, Nurse Aide Refresher, Phlebotomy, Medication Aide, and other healthcare-related continuing education programs.
Working within the College's One College model, the Coordinator collaborates across all campuses, departments, and service areas to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality workforce training that meets community, employer, regulatory, and student needs. The position is responsible for program quality, regulatory compliance, student success, and workforce responsiveness.
The position serves as the primary liaison between the College's continuing education health programs and healthcare employers, clinical partners, regulatory agencies, instructors, and students to support workforce development initiatives throughout the College's service area.
The Coordinator of Health Occupations reports to the Dean of Health Sciences.

Physical Demands
Work is performed in a variety of settings including offices, classrooms, laboratories, clinical facilities, and community locations. Evening and weekend work, local travel, and occasional overnight travel may be required. The position requires interaction with students, instructors, healthcare providers, regulatory agencies, and community partners. The employee must maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment.

Salary Grade Salary Salary Range: $65,000 to $75,000 (12 months) based on education and experience in accordance with the college salary plan.
