    Advertising Summary: The Agricultural Experiment Station at New Mexico State University is seeking a Program Coordinator V to support the New Mexico Chile Association Center. This position is responsible for coordinating and managing program operations, fostering relationships with industry partners and stakeholders, overseeing administrative and fiscal activities, and supporting initiatives that advance and promote New Mexico’s chile industry.

    Target Hourly/Salary Rate: Commensurate with qualifications.

    Appointment Full-time Equivalency: .80

    FLSA Status: Exempt

    Bargaining Unit Announcement: This is NOT a bargaining unit position with American Federation of State, County & Municipal Employees (AFSCME).

    Contingent Upon Funding: Not Applicable

    Standard Work Schedule: Standard (M-F, 8-5)

    Job Duties and Responsibilities: This position supports the New Mexico Chile Association by coordinating with the Board of Directors manager and coordinate the operations and administration of the board of Directors, Provide Leadership and support in developing program and implementation of strategic goals and objectives for NM Chile Association program, Development and attainment of goals while maintaining management responsibility, prepare a budget and monitor to see that organization operates within budgetary and financial guidelines and practices, Maintains records between support departments within the organization., Establish working relationships and cooperative arrangement with other groups and organizations, Represent and point of view of the organization, oversee design, marketing promotion of products and services.

     

    Qualifications

    Required Education and Experience: 
    Associate's Degree + 7 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree + 5 years of relevant experience.

    Working Conditions and Physical Effort

    Environment: Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
