Are you the One? We are looking for a EEMS BabyNet Supervisor who will serve as the supervisor of the BabyNet Eligibility staff within a designated geographical area. The primary responsibility is to ensure that BabyNet Intake Coordinators adhere to the daily, weekly, monthly metrics, which supports compliance with the federal 45-day requirement for completing the intake and eligibility determination process for scheduled clients. The position also involves providing educational guidance and public awareness to providers, community partners, and colleagues to identify and address gaps or barriers in early intervention processes and within the BabyNet program. The manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the local BabyNet office and for promoting program awareness within the community. This position may be eligible for telecommuting. If approved, the employee must maintain all accuracy and timeliness standards and meet individual performance goals. Failure to meet these standards may result in the termination of the telecommuting arrangement.

  • Reviews and analyzes daily timeline and productivity reports related to client determinations and transfers. Proactively follows up with team members on instances of delayed processing, identifies the root causes of delays, and implements appropriate resolutions and follow-up actions to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Conducts required monthly quality assurance reviews to evaluate the effectiveness and professionalism of services provided by BabyNet Eligibility staff. Ensures that all minimum standards are consistently met. Monitors staff performance and documentation across BabyNet systems to ensure records are current, accurate, and timely. • Serves as a subject matter expert on current and emerging BabyNet policies and procedures, maintaining a thorough and up-to-date working knowledge. Acts as a resource for Eligibility team members and external stakeholders, providing guidance and clarification as needed. Provides ongoing input to the supervisor and local early intervention partners regarding barriers, gaps, and potential solutions within the local early intervention system. Responsible for conducting initial and ongoing training for team members to ensure consistent understanding and application of policies and procedures.
  • Performs fundamental supervisory and leadership functions in accordance with Department policies and procedures, best practices and Federal and State rules and regulations, especially with regard to Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) standards. Maintains an effective organizational team and motivates staff to accomplish mission critical operations and objectives. Promotes workforce engagement.
  • Supports the operations of the local BabyNet Eligibility office by ensuring the safety, functionality, and daily management of the facility, including oversight of supplies, utilities, and resolution of office-related issues. Leads the local BabyNet office with a focus on commitment, integrity, accountability, appropriateness, and accuracy in all personnel matters. Assists in reviewing and identifying staffing needs, supports workforce development, and helps forecast training opportunities to enhance staff performance and service delivery. Occasional travel is required, including visits to local and state offices, as well as participation in community events and outreach activities.
