Position Description:

9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Duration: Intent is for a long-term contract position, so there is not a set end date. Position is subject to availability of funding like all others. Remote work 2 days per week; in-office 3 days per week

General Statement of Duties: The Energy Program Manager will play an integral role in supporting the development and management of a number of clean energy projects from concept through implementation as well as supporting the public outreach, communication, and programmatic efforts of the Lead by Example program.
Duties and Responsibilities
Outreach & Communications:
Conduct outreach to key constituents to promote Lead By Example programs and resources and build project pipeline
Develop outreach materials (memos, reports, web content, contact lists) for Lead by Example Program
Coordinate with and lead meetings with stakeholder groups
Contribute to the writing of reports, visualization of program data, social media content, and public communications of the Program
Project Management:
Manage weekly project meetings for active Lead by Example installation projects, including distributing meeting invites, taking minutes, ensuring deliverables and timelines are met, and managing customer and contractor expectations
Coordinate paperwork with customers and contractors to ensure successful project delivery including review and distribution of Purchase Orders, Contracts, Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), and other key project documents
Engagement with, and communications between, engineers, utility representatives, contractors, facility managers, and other stakeholders to support successful project delivery
Program Support & Coordination:
Schedule and organize meetings with public stakeholders
Conduct outreach to solicit participation in Lead by Example programs and provide logistical and outreach support for the a variety of Lead by Example initiatives
Represent OER at public events (e.g. RI Home Show, Conventions, Expos) as needed
Make occasional site visits to troubleshoot problems, check on project progress, take photos, or collect data
Tabulate, analyze, and distribute key program data to support program outcomes and successful project delivery
Miscellaneous
Execute additional tasks to aid the OER team as required
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or comparable experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Experience leading meetings and engaging with and communicating to the public
Proven capability to juggle various tasks and adhere to strict deadlines.
Exceptional organizational and communicative abilities.
Advanced writing and editorial skills.
Preferred:
Background in the energy sector or a governmental environment.
