We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and experienced Program Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of a residential program serving individuals and families experiencing crisis. This leadership role is responsible for supervising staff, coordinating client services, ensuring program compliance, and maintaining a safe, supportive environment for residents.
Schedule
- Full-time, Flexible schedule based on program needs
- Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call responsibilities as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Human Services, or a related field required
- Experience in human services, crisis intervention, residential programs, or victim advocacy preferred
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and crisis response preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with community partners and service providers
- Excellent documentation and case management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily operations of a confidential residential program
- Provide case management, assessments, crisis intervention, and supportive counseling to residents
- Coordinate referrals and connect clients with community resources and supportive services
- Maintain accurate and timely client records in accordance with agency and funding requirements
- Facilitate educational and life skills groups for residents
- Respond appropriately to crisis situations while maintaining a safe environment
- Supervise shelter staff, volunteers, and student interns
- Assist with staff training, scheduling, and performance support
- Collaborate with leadership to develop, improve, and implement program services
- Monitor program compliance, collect data, and prepare required reports
- Participate in on-call and holiday rotation as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
