The College of Health Professions at Texas State University invites applicants for an inaugural Clinical Coordinator for a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences with a concentration in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS).
We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about student learning, clinical education, and the development of a high-quality sonography program. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. This position is subject to the availability of funds.
This is a part-time, nine-month, non-tenure-line clinical faculty appointment, with the possibility of summer employment based on departmental need.
This Clinical Assistant Professor position is a 50% appointment, generally expected to average about three days per week. Responsibilities include both clinical coordination and teaching/laboratory instruction. The position is based in Encino Hall on the San Marcos campus and requires consistent presence for lab instruction and program support.
The Diagnostic Medical Sonography program is housed on the San Marcos campus in Encino Hall on the first level. The Dean's office and other College of Health Professions' departments are also located in Encino Hall.
