Position Description
Department: Center for Academic Success & Specialized Resource Center
Reports To: Director of Academic Success and Accessibility Services
Under the supervision of the Director of Academic Success and Accessibility Services, the Program Coordinator oversees the daily operations of both the Center for Academic Success and the Specialized Resource Center at Manhattan University. The Program Coordinator ensures that tutoring, Supplemental Instruction, and other peer academic support programs are effectively staffed and delivered, while also ensuring that accommodations and accessibility services are provided efficiently, confidentially, and in compliance with university, state, and federal ADA policies. The Program Coordinator supervises peer educators, builds strategic relationships with faculty and campus partners, and serves as a point of contact for both areas.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and student-centered, and is capable of managing multiple programs, student staff, and competing priorities across two distinct but complementary service areas.
