Rate: $19 USD/hour. The Program Assistant – IHI supports Family Intervention Services, supervised by the Program Coordinator.
Essential qualifications include a high school diploma, 1 year of related experience, valid Hawaii driver’s license, TB/medical clearance, First Aid/CPR, and background checks. Preferred candidates meet driving standards.
The role involves providing outreach, transportation, attendant care, and clerical support for youth and families, maintaining records, greeting visitors, and performing light office duties.
Requires strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, dependability, organizational ability, and adaptability to stress.
Physical demands include lifting, driving, and occasional travel. The position may require flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Must be proficient with office equipment and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
This is a non-exempt, FLSA position with a mission-driven focus on youth development and community support.
