Job Title: Program Assistant (Enrollment Medicare)

Department: Customer Service Enrollment Reconciliation & Member Communications
Duration: Temporary Contract

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Pay Range: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Position Summary:

The facility is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Program Assistant (Enrollment Medicare) to support services for Medicare dual eligible members. This role involves performing complex enrolment/disenrollment tasks, handling data reconciliation, and managing escalated issues. The Program Assistant will also collaborate across departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support daily operations related to Medicare enrollment and disenrollment

  • Coordinate specialized processes and workflows

  • Respond to inquiries and interpret policies and regulations

  • Develop reports, track data, and maintain accurate documentation

  • Serve as liaison between departments and external entities

  • Ensure processes are compliant with regulatory standards

  • Conduct quality assurance audits

  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

  • Perform other tasks and projects as needed to support business objectives

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in eligibility and/or data reconciliation

  • OR an equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in Medicare and health insurance

  • Experience interacting with regulatory bodies (e.g., DHCS, DMHC)

  • Bilingual in English and a defined threshold language (e.g., Spanish, Vietnamese, Korean, Farsi, Arabic, Chinese)

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong written and verbal communication

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently

  • High attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

  • Collaborate across departments and lead cross-functional tasks
