What you will be doing:

This position will support the Washington Headquarters Services, Pentagon Services Division, and Parking Management Office (WHS/PSD/PMO). PMO supports PSD and other local and federal governmental organizations with technical and customer support that integrate the operational, policy and business aspects of the Parking Management operations. Duties will include permit and clearance issuance, conducting thorough data analysis to support PMO objectives, preparing and presenting comprehensive reports and briefings, and direct programming assistance to the client, project manager, and the tenants located within the Pentagon, Mark Center Building, and Suffolk Building.

Requirements:

• Provide technical, operational, and analytical mission support for the Pentagon Services Directorate (PSD) and Parking Management Office (PMO).
• Serve as the primary point of contact for parking-related inquiries from component representatives, callers, and visitors, providing service via email, phone, and in-person.
• Oversee the complete lifecycle of parking permits and parking clearances, including issuance, renewal, and revocation.
• Provide Tier 1 and 2 technical supports, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, resolving access challenges, and supporting seamless system navigation.
• Assist with system administration tasks, including account creation and access resets.
• Manage incident resolution by logging, tracking, and resolving help desk support tickets in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with developers and agency representatives to escalate and resolve issues
• Prepare detailed project reports, briefs, and presentations for stakeholders and senior leaders.
• Engage with application users to gather feedback for enhancing the user experience.
• Contribute to the development of user guides, FAQs, and training materials.

Position Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Experience:

• Prior experience with WHS/PSD Appian platform Parking Management System
• Ability to obtain Appian Analyst Certification within one year (Can substitute for Appian Associate Developer Certification).

Preferred Qualifications

• The ability to effectively communicate, understand customer needs, and resolve issues promptly and professionally
• Strong research and analytic skills with the ability to collect, organize, interpret, and disseminate large significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and data presentation skills, including presenting findings to management and executive level.
• Proficiency with Appian Parking Management System (PMS)
• Proficiency with Microsoft products, specifically creating briefs using PowerPoint, and Excel
• Demonstrated experience conducting research, organizing information, and preparing written reports and visual presentations.
• Preference is given to candidates with experience in Appian Parking Management System

Education:

• Bachelors degree or associate's degree and prior experience working in a program and/or project management environment

Physical Demands

• The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, frequently exposed to electronic office equipment.
• During visits to areas of operations, they may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions.
