Program Analyst I - Budget & Financial Management

One Federal Solution (OFS) is seeking a Program Analyst I to support our Federal Government client in Arlington, VA. The Program Analyst I will conduct program and financial analyses, evaluate budget requests and funding allocations, identify operational and fiscal issues, and provide recommendations to support effective resource management and program operations.

Responsibilities

• Collect, compile, and analyze data needed to formulate budget requests and district allocations of the annual transportation funding that supports air and ground prisoner transportation.
• Provide technical advice for financial system transactions for the transportation and guard services sections.
• Submit payment requests for air operations flight hours for prisoner transportation through the Justice Prisoner Air Transportation System (JPATS).
• Update the Office of Transportation Services (OTS) financial Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) annually.
• Track and maintain records of air charter missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in budget analysis, financial management, and monitoring expenditures to support budget planning and resource allocation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and financial management or travel systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate financial records.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous experience supporting a government agency preferred.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be able to undergo and pass a Public Trust background investigation.
• Must be able to work onsite in Arlington, VA.
