The OLLI Program Administrator provides comprehensive technical and administrative support for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at USCB. This highly visible position is responsible for coordinating daily program operations, supporting instructors, managing classroom technology, and ensuring a seamless hybrid learning experience for participants attending classes both on campus and through Zoom.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate the day-to-day implementation and delivery of OLLI educational programs.
  • Provide technical support for hybrid classroom instruction utilizing Zoom, audiovisual equipment, and classroom technology.
  • Assist instructors before, during, and after classes to ensure successful program delivery.
  • Train and support instructors in the use of classroom technology, presentation equipment, and online learning platforms.
  • Communicate regularly with instructors regarding schedules, classroom needs, and program logistics.
  • Provide on-site classroom support and troubleshoot technology issues quickly and professionally.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to prepare program materials, reports, schedules, and communications.
  • Collaborate with OLLI staff to ensure outstanding customer service and a welcoming learning environment.
  • Build positive relationships with OLLI members while providing courteous, responsive assistance.
  • Support additional program initiatives and special projects as assigned.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strong proficiency with computers, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience operating audiovisual equipment and supporting hybrid learning technologies, including Zoom.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
  • The ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to work courteously and effectively with older adult learners.
  • Confidence training and assisting instructors with classroom technology and instructional equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • A collaborative, positive attitude and commitment to teamwork.
