Position Summary
The Kids' Interactions, Thoughts, and Experiences (KITE) Project in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Washington University School of Medicine is seeking to hire a compassionate, dedicated Professional Rater II to join and amplify our growing team. We are devoted to improving the outcomes of children with mental health concerns. We are seeking individuals with comfort and familiarity working with children and diverse families, and strong research and organizational skills. Our studies examine how social connection and disconnection influence the emergence of suicidal thoughts and behaviors (STBs) in young children. We investigate early developmental risk factors, characterize how STBs are expressed in childhood, and develop evidence-based approaches for screening and assessment in children ages 5-10. We offer a collegial and collaborative work culture that values and respects your contributions.
In your role as a Professional Rater II, you will bring your clinical research expertise to conduct in-person clinical interview sessions and in-person EEG assessments with research participants between the ages of 5-10 and their caregivers. Through these comprehensive assessments, you will play an integral role in our data collection, supporting the assessment psychopathology while working in close collaboration with our team of investigators and research staff.
