About the Role:Feitheog Massage Therapy Inc is looking for a skilled and passionate Professional Massage Therapist to join our growing team in West Roxbury, MA. If you love helping clients feel their best and thrive in a welcoming, wellness-focused environment, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:- Perform therapeutic massage sessions tailored to each client's individual needs and goals
- Utilize a variety of massage modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and trigger point therapy
- Conduct client intake assessments and maintain accurate session notes
- Communicate effectively with clients to address concerns and adjust techniques as needed
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and professional treatment environment
- Build and retain a loyal client base through exceptional service and follow-up care recommendations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive overall client experience
Requirements:- Valid Massachusetts Massage Therapy license (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Completed accredited massage therapy program with hands-on training hours
- Proficiency in multiple massage techniques including Swedish and deep tissue
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-centered approach
- Ability to stand and perform physical massage work for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
- Previous experience in a spa, clinic, or private practice setting is a plus
