We are partnering with a well-established Florida-based engineering and surveying firm with more than 40 years of success delivering high-quality land development, infrastructure, and surveying projects throughout the state. As the organization continues to expand, they are seeking an experienced Professional Land Surveyor & Mapper (PLS/PSM) to join their team in either Boca Raton or Port St. Lucie.
This is an excellent opportunity for a survey professional who enjoys both technical work and project leadership, while collaborating with engineers, project managers, and field teams on a diverse portfolio of projects.
What You'll Be Doing
Prepare and certify Boundary, ALTA/NSPS, Easement, and Topographic Surveys
Research deeds, plats, title commitments, legal descriptions, and public land records
Review ALTA/NSPS Table A requirements and title documentation
Lead and oversee survey field crews utilizing GPS, robotic total stations, and other electronic survey equipment
Draft, review, and QA survey deliverables using AutoCAD Civil 3D
Coordinate with engineering and project management teams throughout project lifecycles
Manage project schedules, quality control standards, and regulatory compliance requirements
Participate in client meetings and help drive successful project outcomes
What We're Looking For
Active Florida Professional Land Surveyor and Mapper (PLS/PSM) license
Strong experience performing and reviewing Boundary, ALTA/NSPS, Topographic, and Easement Surveys
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
Experience utilizing modern electronic survey equipment and GPS technologies
Ability to interpret deeds, title commitments, plats, and legal descriptions
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Valid Florida driver's license
Commitment to quality, accuracy, and client service
