Professional Land Surveyor

I am partnered with a consulting firm in Madison, Wisconsin that is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor to join their team. This role includes managing survey projects, supervising field and office staff, ensuring accuracy of deliverables, and signing/sealing survey documents. This will be a 100% in-office role.

What you will be doing:

• Oversee boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS surveys, CSMs, and plats
• Work directly with other team members, mentoring and leading
• Supervise survey crews
• Review field data and ensure accuracy
• Attend project meetings and represent the company professionally
• Interpret deeds, title commitments, easements, and legal descriptions
• Monitor projects from start to finish, interacting with clients

What you will need:

• 5+ years of experience
• PLS required
• AutoCAD, Civil3D
• Strong knowledge of Wisconsin surveying laws and standards
• Experience with boundary analysis and legal descriptions
• Excellent communication skills
• Project management and leadership experience preferred
• Experience with UAV, LiDAR, or photogrammetry a plus
• Well-developed understanding of surveying process, start to finish
