Manufacturing Operations Analyst (Staff Analyst)

Location: Portland, OR 97230 (Onsite)
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Positions Available: 4
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: First Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $61 per hour
Interview Process: One round interview (virtual or onsite)


Position Overview

We are seeking a Manufacturing Operations Analyst to support senior operations leadership in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will provide analytical, operational, and administrative support to help leaders manage daily business operations, monitor performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, data-driven, and skilled at building relationships across teams to support operational decision-making.

This position is 100% onsite in Portland, Oregon.


Key Responsibilities

Operations & Business Support

  • Support the Operations Senior Manager in day-to-day business activities and operational planning.

  • Assist with preparation of reports, presentations, and data analysis to support leadership decision-making.

  • Track operational priorities and assist with coordination of business initiatives.

Data Analysis & Performance Monitoring

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operations.

  • Translate data into actionable insights to improve operational efficiency and performance.

  • Support operational reviews and leadership briefings with accurate reporting.

Meeting & Communication Management

  • Coordinate and schedule meetings for operations leadership and cross-functional teams.

  • Prepare meeting agendas, presentation materials, and supporting documentation.

  • Capture meeting minutes, action items, and follow-up tasks to ensure execution.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with multiple teams to gather information and support operational initiatives.

  • Track project progress and follow up on action items to ensure timely completion.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend workflow enhancements.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Communications, or a related field (preferred)

  • Experience in an analyst, operations support, or business support role

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting operations or manufacturing teams

  • Experience preparing leadership reports and presentations

  • Experience working with operational performance metrics and KPIs

  • Location: Portland, OR (onsite)

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday

  • Shift: First shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)

  • Work involves standard office activities and occasional walking across the facility
