    Location: Avon Lake, OH Schedule: Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Job Type: Full-Time

    Watteredge is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Production Worker to join our Small Cable Department. In this role, you'll assemble and inspect copper cable and wiring components while helping produce high-quality products used in critical electrical power applications.     What You'll Do

    • Assemble small cable and wiring components according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
    • Read and follow production instructions, prints, specifications, and manufacturing procedures.
    • Operate production equipment safely and efficiently.
    • Inspect equipment before use and perform routine adjustments and basic maintenance.
    • Use hand tools such as cutters, crimpers, and soldering equipment.
    • Measure finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure quality and compliance.
    • Maintain accurate production and quality records.
    • Report equipment, material, or quality issues to your supervisor.
    • Follow all OSHA safety requirements and company procedures.
    • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    What We're Looking For

    • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience (on-the-job training may substitute for educational requirements).
    • One or more years of manufacturing experience preferred.
    • Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
    • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to read and understand written and verbal work instructions.
    • Ability to learn manufacturing equipment and production processes.
    • Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

    Physical & Work Environment

    • Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
    • Frequent standing and walking throughout the production floor.
    • May be required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
    • Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds without assistance.
