Position Overview
We are seeking dependable Production Operators to join a fast-paced manufacturing operation in Hoosick Falls, NY. This is a hands-on production position responsible for operating and monitoring equipment, maintaining product quality, and supporting daily production goals.
Previous manufacturing experience is preferred, but on-the-job training will be provided for qualified candidates. This is a strong opportunity for someone looking to build manufacturing experience and develop valuable production skills.
Available Shifts
2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
3rd Shift: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Important: New employees will initially train on 1st shift from 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM before transitioning to their assigned 2nd or 3rd shift.
Candidates must also be willing to work varied hours and overtime when required by production needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor manufacturing and production equipment.
- Follow established safety procedures and regulations at all times.
- Meet production goals while maintaining safety and efficiency.
- Inspect work and maintain established quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
- Read and interpret basic drawings and work instructions.
- Use basic hand-held measuring tools.
- Perform basic mathematical calculations as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S standards.
- Perform general housekeeping duties as needed.
- Work collaboratively with production team members and supervisors.
- Identify and report production or quality issues.
- Follow established manufacturing procedures and work instructions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous manufacturing, production, machine operation, assembly, or industrial experience preferred.
- Entry-level candidates with a strong work history and willingness to learn will also be considered.
- Ability to read and interpret basic drawings and instructions.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to use basic hand-held measuring tools.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift approximately 25–50 lbs.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to work overtime or varied hours based on business needs.
