    Production Worker / Material Handler Job Description

    Job Summary:

    A Production Worker / Material Handler supports daily operations by assisting with moving materials, organizing work areas, and helping team members complete tasks. This role focuses on manual labor, teamwork, and maintaining a safe, efficient workspace.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Assist with moving and handling materials such as wood and other supplies

    Load, unload, and transport materials within the work area

    Support team members with general labor tasks as needed

    Stack, organize, and store materials properly

    Keep work areas clean and free of hazards

    Follow all workplace safety guidelines and procedures

    Assist with basic tasks to support production and project completion

    Report any safety concerns or issues to supervisors

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

    Ability to perform physical labor and lift heavy materials

    Strong attention to safety

    Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

    Dependable and punctual

    Previous labor or warehouse experience is a plus

    Working Conditions:

    Physically active role with frequent lifting and carrying

    Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift


    Physical Requirements:

    Ability to lift 25–50 lbs or more regularly

    Ability to bend, reach, and carry materials

    Good stamina and physical endurance

    Dress Code Requirements:

    Employees must follow a casual but safe dress code appropriate for a labor environment:

    Pants/Bottoms: Jeans or durable work pants

    Shorts: Allowed if appropriate length

    Clothing Condition: No ripped or torn clothing
