Production Worker / Log Line Operator
Job Type: Full Time
Shift: Monday- Thursday, 6am- 430pm
Pay: $19-$20/hour
Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.
Production Worker / Log Line Operator Job Description:
- Move and stack logs high to a pallet measuring 36x40 to create a bulk log unit
- Will need to watch the quality of product & move product that doesn't meet criteria out of primary stac
- Once the rack is full the operator will move the full rack of logs to a designated cooling area.
- Band the unit, stretch wrap the unit, place a waterproof cover over the unit and place outside for storage.
- Other duties assigned
Production Worker / Log Line Operator Job Requirements:
- Prior forklift and production line experience preferred.
- Will need good eye, hand and foot coordination.
- Will need to be able to pass the company forklift training.
- Will need to be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for a minimum of 7 hours per day.
- Will need to be able to read and interpret scales
- Ability to immediately understand and react to verbal safety commands, audio alarms, and written hazard alerts in English in a Manufacturing setting.
- Proficient in English to accurately read, interpret, and execute equipment lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) protocols and machine operation manuals.
- Sufficient English verbal skills to clearly and instantly report machine malfunctions, near-misses, or unsafe floor conditions to supervisors and team members.
- This role operates in the immediate vicinity of fast-moving, heavy automated equipment. Clear, real-time communication and strict adherence to English-language safety signage are mandatory for workplace safety.
