Production Worker

Job Purpose and Impact

The Production worker will operate production or warehouse machines that are non-similar requiring moderate to complex setup and machine adjustments, perform maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues with in-depth understanding of policy and procedures with regular guidance and providing support to others. In this role, you will maximize throughput and produce quality product while following all Food Safety and regulatory polices as required.

Job time: Full Time

Shift: Rotational work 12hr shifts

Compensation: $ 26.69/hr

Key Accountabilities

• Packaging our finished product in accordance with prescribed packaging procedures while producing high-quality packing of finished goods
• Work with computer-controlled equipment or more mechanically based machines to make sure they are set up properly, working well, and producing quality products
• Perform changeover and machine set-up as required
• Inspecting products to oversee product quality assurance
• Interact regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations and promote a teamwork-focused environment
• Operate forklifts
• Contact the supervisor and maintenance personnel in the event of any mechanical problems or unsafe situations/work practices within your area
• Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What You Will Need:

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
• Basic use of a computer
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Ability to work in elevated areas
• Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays with advance notice

What Will Put You Ahead:

• Basic experience troubleshooting various mechanical components and systems
• Experience working in a production-related work
• Prior experience using the forklift and/or similar equipment
• Experience with SAP
• Experience working in a food manufacturing environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
