Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking dedicated and skilled Production Workers for a client in the Cumming, GA area. This is a contract to hire position that starts as a Production Worker and has the opportunity to advance into an Installer upon conversion.
Pay rate: $17-20/hour based on experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-4:30pm. Occasional voluntary overtime offered
Responsibilities
- Build and assemble custom products following established specifications and production instructions
- Prepare materials by measuring, cutting, stretching, sewing, and assembling components
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy standards are consistently met
- Manage materials and inventory by retrieving supplies and returning unused materials to proper storage locations
- Package and label completed products for delivery to customers
- Keep the production area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
- Escalate production, quality, material, or equipment concerns to supervisors as needed
- Work collaboratively with other departments to support production demands and operational success
Qualifications
- Background as a tradesman, comfortable working outside in both a manufacturing plant and various weather conditions for 8-12 hours
- Experience using a measuring tape for precise measurements
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a federal background check
- Physically able to lift materials, bend, stand, squat, etc., for extended periods of time
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus, but not required
