Job Description:
Hours are 11pm-7am
In this role, the Production Worker will be responsible for:
oVisually inspecting edges of wipers for seal quality according to product-specific work instructions and departmental standard operating procedures (SOPs).
oOperating bag-sealing equipment.
oInspecting, identifying, and reporting defects and/or contamination in the product
oInspecting finished goods for shipment.
oWeighing, documenting, and discarding equipment scrap.
oPreparing and packaging finished goods for shipment.
oNotifying machine operators to make adjustments to machines to correct variables producing defects or the quality product.
oFollowing all quality guidelines in the performing of job functions.
oMaintaining equipment in a clean contamination control state.
oMaintaining organized paperwork and records.
oMaintaining a clean and organized work environment.
oTraining new associates on all aspects of job function.
oWorking in other functional areas to improve the flexibility of job assignments
oPerform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications
oHigh School Diploma or GED required or a combination of experience and education
oManufacturing experience and/or training is preferred, but not required.
oBasic computer skills with ability to find, read, and locate documents as needed.
oBasic English comprehension skills with the ability to speak, read, and write in the language with minimal difficulty.
oMust be detail-orientated, highly accurate, and dependable.
oAbility to work independently and as part of a team.
oAbility to work effectively and communicate positively with managers and employees within the organization.
oBasic math skills with the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must be able to read and use a ruler.
oMust be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
oMust be able to don appropriate gowning materials and wear PPE as defined by plant safety procedures.
oAbility to frequently stand, walk, sit, reach, and kneel, as well as lift, move, and/or transport up to 40 lbs.
oAbility to visually see contamination and/or defects with or without the use of corrective lenses.

Compensation Information:
$17.20, plus $1 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift
