What You'll Do as a Production Worker:- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Prepare products for shipping and inventory
- Stage products and materials for production
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks after successfully completing required training, unless designated as a non-driver
- Operate pallet inverters, wrappers, and palletizers as required
- Read schedules, bills of lading, and shipping paperwork
- Maintain a clean work area by removing broken pallet pieces, straps, and other debris
What You Need to Bring to the Production Worker Role:- Ability to understand and follow verbal work instructions
- Ability to stand, walk, and reach throughout an 8-hour shift
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to read schedules, bills of lading, and shipping paperwork
- Willingness to work in temperatures averaging between 50°F and -20°F depending on assignment; exposure is intermittent
- Willingness to work around wet floors, damp areas, and raw meat products, including blood or fat
- Ability to complete required Job Safety Analysis (JSA), equipment operation, safety, and food safety training
