Production Welder - Full Time

Job Summary:

The Production Welder will contribute to our growing manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication of machinery, reading technical drawings, possess an eagerness to learn new skills, and the ability to problem solve complex issues to help drive forward the team’s strong continuous improvement culture; all while ensuring the highest quality standards in the production process.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain fabrication machinery and equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards.
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to fabricate components with precision.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure the accuracy and quality of fabricated products.
• Troubleshoot and address issues with machinery or processes to minimize downtime.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
• Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and contribute to enhancing overall efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure seamless workflow.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, contributing to a safe and productive manufacturing environment.
• Stay informed about industry trends and advancements to remain current in fabrication techniques.
• Take ownership of your area and demonstrate a strong desire to challenge the status quo by looking for improvements in all areas of production. Communicate effectively during daily stand-ups, weekly team meetings, and consistently complete to-dos and responsibilities you are accountable for.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in weld assembly fitment and operating a welder.
• Proficiency in operating fabrication machinery and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and adherence to industry regulations.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing production schedules and priorities.
• Willingness to travel, if needed, to aid the team in service work and customer support.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational training or certification in fabrication is a plus.
• Previous experience of welding in a manufacturing environment.
