Production Trainer-Center, Tx-2nd Shift

Job Details:

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for delivering new hire orientation and training programs at the designated facility for hourly team members, clerical and management support staff, and supervisors/management. This position works closely with the Training Coordinator, assistant hourly trainers, and hourly team members to support onboarding, training, and team member development.

Key responsibilities include:

• Facilitate new hire orientation, including safety, company policies and procedures, knife skills, food safety, and other required training.
• Complete and maintain required documentation for training sessions.
• Assist new team members with transitioning into their assigned jobs.
• Conduct daily follow-up with hourly team members on the production floor.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate training records.
• Plan and schedule participants for training programs.
• Monitor and track training completion.
• Assist with developing and updating Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and job breakdown sheets.
• Maintain adequate training materials and supplies.
• Assist with special events and training activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve orientation and new hire training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: One or more years of experience in training or food processing preferred.

Computer Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite preferred.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Highly recommended to include a resume in a PDF or Word Document format.
