Prestige Personnel, LLC is seeking several detail-oriented Production Technicians I to support the assembly, configuration, and testing of customer-specific medical system racks. This role is responsible for assembling integrated hardware systems, ensuring product quality, and following established manufacturing, safety, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work from diagrams, specifications, and work instructions.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Assemble customer-specific medical system racks using port maps, wiring diagrams, schematics, and detailed work instructions.
- Install, route, and secure cables, harnesses, and electronic components according to specifications.
- Configure and verify system components to ensure proper functionality and customer requirements are met.
- Perform quality inspections throughout the assembly process to identify and correct defects or discrepancies.
- Support product testing, troubleshooting, and validation activities as directed.
- Accurately complete production records and manufacturing documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Adhere to all manufacturing, quality, and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with team members, engineers, and quality personnel to meet production schedules and customer delivery requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and communicate concerns regarding product quality or manufacturing efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow work instructions, diagrams, and visual aids.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials weighing 25-50 pounds.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience.
- Experience assembling electronic systems, wiring, harnesses, or cabling.
- Basic knowledge of electronic components and hardware installation.
- Experience working with quality standards and manufacturing documentation.
- Familiarity with medical device, healthcare technology, or regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
- Manual dexterity required to assemble small components and cable connections.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- First Shift hours: M-Thurs 8-4:30 AM; Fridays 6:30 AM- 2:30 AM
- Must be able to complete a background check and drug test
