Job Title: 

Assembly Technician  

 

Location: 

Westborough, Massachusetts 

 

Job Type: 

Full-time, On-Going Contract, W2 

 

Schedule: 

Monday – Friday, Onsite 

 

Pay Range: 

$21.25 per hour

Job Description:  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists. 

  • Gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials needed for production. 

  • Perform electromechanical assembly of complex equipment and robotic components. 

  • Move, stage, and deliver materials and components to workstations. 

  • Operate pallet jacks, carts, and other material handling equipment. 

  • Assist with kitting, labeling, and organization of production parts. 

  • Support inventory accuracy through documentation and scanning activities. 

  • Perform assembly, repair, and rework activities as required. 

  • Complete quality inspections and document production activities. 

  • Maintain inventory and verify receipt of supplies. 

  • Follow manufacturing safety procedures and safe work practices. 

  • Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment. 

Requirements 

  • Ability to stand for 7+ hours per shift. 

  • Ability to lift at least 30 pounds. 

  • Ability to read and follow English-language instructions. 

  • Ability to use a handheld scanner. 

  • Ability to work all scheduled shift days, including overtime as needed. 

  • Strong attention to detail. 

  • Ability to perform data entry using computers and manufacturing software. 

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods. 

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment. 

  • Ability to work in a mechanical setting and use power tools and related equipment. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • 1+ year of manufacturing experience. 

  • Experience with ERP, MES, or inventory management systems. 

  • Ability to interpret work instructions, part drawings, and traveler paperwork. 

  • Familiarity with safe material handling practices. 

  • Experience with labeling and inventory control processes.
