About Us
Midwest Industrial Supply is a leader in dust control and soil stabilization. We’re looking for a hands-on Production Technician to help our Canton plant produce and ship quality products safely and on time.
What You’ll Do
- Produce, package, and label products on our polymer emulsion line, including Soil Sement and Batch Room products, following work orders and the plant schedule
- Handle shipping and receiving: schedule shipments, check incoming materials, weigh and load orders, and complete paperwork
- Transfer bulk material by tanker truck between facilities
- Track inventory, take part in weekly cycle counts, and initiate reorders
- Perform quality checks and preventive maintenance, and oversee confined-space tank cleaning
- Contribute to Lean and 5S improvements, and stop work for any safety or quality concern
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma or GED
- Production or manufacturing experience
- Strong organization, communication, and basic computer skills
- Forklift certification and Class A CDL with tanker endorsement (optional)
Work Environment
Production setting with heavy machinery, noise, confined spaces, ladders, and temperatures from below 32°F to above 100°F. Must lift up to 50 lbs. and be available for extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
