About Vale Vale is a design-led company building the future of autonomous retail. We blend automation, robotics, and premium food & beverage to create beautifully crafted matcha experiences through fully automated kiosks and mobile carts.
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, Production Technician to support daily production operations. This is a hands-on role that will include blending tea blends, packaging finished products, maintaining sanitation standards, and helping with the general upkeep and organization of the production space.
Because we are a growing company, this role requires someone who is adaptable and willing to jump in where needed. Daily responsibilities may shift based on production priorities, inventory needs, customer orders, and team workload. The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable working on their feet, able to follow written procedures, and takes pride in keeping a clean, efficient, and food-safe production environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Blend tea blends according to production formulas, batch records, and quality standards
Package finished products accurately and efficiently
Label, seal, case-pack, and organize finished goods
Follow standard operating procedures for production, packaging, sanitation, and food safety
Maintain accurate production records, including batch information and packaging counts
Clean and sanitize production equipment, tools, work surfaces, and production areas
Support the general upkeep, organization, and cleanliness of the production space
Assist with inventory organization, material handling, and staging ingredients or packaging supplies
Flex between production, packaging, sanitation, inventory, and other operational tasks as needed
Help identify and communicate quality issues, material shortages, equipment concerns, or safety hazards
Work collaboratively with the team to meet daily and weekly production goals
Follow all company safety, sanitation, and food handling guidelines
Qualifications
Previous production, food manufacturing, packaging, warehouse, or kitchen experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks as production needs change
Comfortable performing repetitive tasks with accuracy and consistency
Able to stay organized while shifting between different responsibilities
Reliable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team
Comfortable working in a clean, organized production environment
Food handler's permit, food safety experience, HAACP certification is a plus
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the workday
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Comfortable working around dry ingredients, packaging materials, and production equipment
Ability to follow sanitation and safety procedures consistently
Pay Range
$25 - 30 / hour
