    Description

    Join our team as an **Production Technician **and play an important role in the manufacturing of vaccines that help protect animal health. In this hands-on position, you’ll work in a highly controlled clean room environment, operating specialized equipment and following aseptic processing techniques to help produce high-quality vaccine products.

    This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, working as part of a team, and building technical skills in a regulated manufacturing environment.

    What You’ll Do

    As an Aseptic Technician I, you’ll support vaccine manufacturing activities while maintaining the highest standards for quality, safety, and compliance.

    Filling & Aseptic Processing

    • Set up, operate, and tear down vaccine filling equipment.
    • Fill vaccines into various product presentations using multiple fill lines.
    • Perform aseptic processing and clean room procedures in a GMP-regulated environment.
    • Wear appropriate clean room gowning and PPE while maintaining aseptic conditions.
    • Operate both portable and stationary manufacturing equipment.

    Lyophilization & Capping

    • Load freeze dryers and support the lyophilization process when applicable.
    • Perform final capping activities, including applying aluminum seals.
    • Safely operate equipment involving steam and other manufacturing processes.

    Quality & Compliance

    • Accurately complete batch records, SOPs, and other required GMP documentation.
    • Follow established procedures, regulatory requirements, and site policies.
    • Maintain accurate inventory and ensure materials are properly managed.
    • Follow all site safety and financial procedures.

    Teamwork & Collaboration

    • Work closely with a small team in a clean room environment.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and multiple departments.
    • Contribute to a culture focused on quality, safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

    What You’ll Bring

    Required:

    • High school diploma or GED.
    • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to follow detailed procedures and work effectively in a highly regulated environment.
    • Willingness to work a 3rd-shift schedule and occasional weekends.

    Preferred:

    • Post-high-school education in science or a related discipline.
    • Strong math, science, and computer skills.
    • Previous experience in manufacturing, laboratory, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, animal health, or another regulated environment.

    Physical & Work Environment Requirements

    This is a hands-on manufacturing role performed in a clean room and production environment. Candidates must be able to:

    • Sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
    • Wear required PPE, including Tyvek gowns and a respirator.
    • Work in varying temperatures.
    • Frequently reach above shoulder level, bend, stoop, push, pull, grip, and handle equipment.
    • Perform repetitive movements involving the wrists, hands, and fingers.
    • Regularly lift and carry materials weighing approximately 5–25 pounds.
    • Work a scheduled 40-hour week and overtime as needed.
