Job Title: Grit Blasting Technician
Job Description
The Grit Blasting Technician prepares and processes components for thermal spray, brazing, and coating operations using a variety of hand and power tools, blasting equipment, and furnaces. This role combines precision manual work with operation of industrial machinery to support high-quality manufacturing and reconditioning of parts in a clean, organized production environment.

Work Environment
This role is based in an AC-controlled production warehouse and manufacturing facility that is very organized and clean. You will work in a warehouse environment with rotating opportunities between different departments to gain diverse skills across grit blasting, coating prep, brazing, and related processes. Available shifts include 1st shift (approximately 5:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) and 2nd shift (approximately 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.), supporting a structured production schedule. The facility uses industrial equipment such as atmospheric and vacuum furnaces, thermal spray booths, blasting equipment, small cranes, forklifts, and a variety of hand and power tools including grinders, sanders, and spray guns. Safety is a priority, and you must wear safety shoes rated by ASTM F 2413-05 or ANSI Z41-1999 with I/C (impact/compression), EH (electrical hazard), and SD (static dissipative) protection, along with steel toe requirements. The dress code emphasizes appropriate protective footwear and adherence to all safety and personal protective equipment guidelines in a modern, well-maintained production environment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
