Champion Personnel is hiring a Production Technician in Bedford, Ohio. This is a direct-hire opportunity!
We manufacture resistance welding equipment used in the automotive, appliance, HVAC, and agricultural industries, supporting major companies including Ford, Honda, GM, and Subaru.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Includes a 1-hour lunch and two breaks.
What You'll Do
This is a hands-on manufacturing position with a variety of responsibilities, including:
- Operate a CNC mill
- Operate a manual lathe and other shop equipment as needed
- Perform basic machine setups
- Read and interpret blueprints/prints
- Use micrometers and calipers to inspect finished parts
- Maintain machines, equipment, and tooling
- Produce components used in resistance welding equipment
- Operate a tow motor/forklift
- Enter information into the company's computer system
- Assist shipping when needed
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who has:
- At least 2 years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment
- CNC mill experience
- Experience with manual machining equipment
- Ability to read and interpret prints
- Experience using micrometers and calipers
- Tow motor/forklift experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to multitask and help in different areas of the operation
