Job Summary
Are you a detail-oriented team player looking to build a career in modern manufacturing? We are seeking a dedicated Production Team Member to join our team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind ensuring our customers receive high-quality parts safely and on time. You will work in a collaborative environment, learn cutting-edge manufacturing methodologies, and participate directly in continuous improvement initiatives.

Major Responsibilities

• Safety & Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to all safety procedures and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements at all times.
• Daily Operations: Report to your assigned work area on time daily to execute part loading and handling processes, ensuring precise production sequencing order.
• Quality Assurance: Follow all quality inspection procedures consistently to deliver defect-free products to the customer.
• Teamwork & Flexibility: Work closely with team members and rotate through various production jobs to build skills flexibility and comprehensive process knowledge.
• Equipment Operation: Learn and follow proper operating procedures for Powered Industrial Equipment (P.I.E.) required for your specific area.
• Problem Escalation: Immediately contact your Team Leader regarding any issues relating to safety, quality, production, or equipment.
• Continuous Improvement (TPS): Learn and actively apply Toyota Production System principles, including:
  • Kaizen: Participate in problem-solving and Continuous Improvement activities using the P.D.C.A. (Plan, Do, Check, Act) framework.
  • Standard Work: Understand and comply with established standard work procedures.
  • FMDS Compliance: Execute Floor Management Development System standards to take 5-S workplace organization to the next level.
• Customer & Leadership Communication: Maintain respectful, accountable, and professional communication with customers and follow work instructions from your Team Leader.

• Willingness to cross-train on multiple jobs and learn new manufacturing systems (TPS, 5-S, FMDS).
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on respect and accountability.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate Powered Industrial Equipment (P.I.E.).
• physical capability to handle repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
