Production Team Lead

Full-Time Schedule: 3 days one week (Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday) and 4 days the next week (Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday) 2nd shift hours: 10:00 AM-Close (typically around 11:00 PM) 10-12 hour shifts As a Team Lead, you will: Train and support team members on daily production tasks Learn and understand each production line and be able to work in different zones Help manage breaks and keep the team moving throughout the shift Maintain product quality and ensure products are made to our standards Help monitor food waste and food costs Cross-train team members and help place employees where they are needed Work alongside the team and step in wherever help is needed Communicate with Production Supervisors about staffing, production, and any issues that come up Lead by example and demonstrate our RISE values: Respect, Integrity, Serve & Excellence Help create a positive, productive, and safe work environment Complete other assignments as directed by the Production Supervisor What does "learning the lines" mean? As a Team Lead, you will be expected to learn how each Zone of production works, not just one position. Training will include learning how to: Set up and operate production equipment Mix, prepare, cook, and produce our donut products Understand the steps and standards for each production area Recognize quality issues and help correct them Keep the line running efficiently Move between different areas of the floor as production needs change Train others to perform the job correctly and safely Understand what each position on the line is responsible for What We're Looking For: Professional, dependable, and positive attitude Strong communication and teamwork skills Able to lead by example and work well with others Able to stay calm and make decisions in a fast-paced environment Comfortable giving direction and helping team members Willing to work hands-on alongside the team Excellent attendance and punctuality Flexible and willing to move between production areas as needed Available for the hours needed each workday and work week Requirements: Must be available for the assigned full-time schedule Must be able to work 10-12 hour shifts Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Must be able to learn and work in multiple areas of production Previous leadership, training, food production, manufacturing, or similar experience The work conditions: Possible exposure to nut, dairy, or other food allergens Position requires regular communication through speaking and listening Frequently required to stand for prolonged periods Frequent use of hands to finger, handle, or feel Frequently required to reach with hands and arms Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and climb ladders to various heights Lifting and/or moving items up to 50 pounds Possible exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibrations Safety glasses, respiratory masks, and ear protection are provided as needed Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
