Production Team Lead

Position Summary

This role supports and directs employees doing work in the assigned production departments. The Lead will interface with the Production Management Team to ensure production lines meet output targets, schedules, and efficiency targets while keeping employee safety at the forefront.

Job Duties

Detail essential job responsibilities, requirements and key deliverables for the role:

• Ensure all employees adhere to the company safety policy.
• Execute Transactions within the ERP system to support the production line and keep products flowing.
• Direct workforce to ensure daily production goals are achieved.
• Ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency of production lines
• Daily communication Production Management/Human Resources regarding attendance
• Daily communication to Operations Team regarding work flow.
• OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Communication, ability to work in team environment, follow written instructions and verbal instructions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Some exposure to harsh conditions-such as: dust, fumes, noise, and varying temperatures-for short periods of time is possible. This employee will be required to demonstrate continued knowledge of Haz/Com regulations and requirements. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Sitting 0%, standing/walking 100%. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds is required. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers to handle or feel; talk and hear.
