Description

Production Supervisor

Pay: $90k+ DOE

Hours: 2nd shift, 4 pm – 2:30 am Monday through Thursday

We are seeking a hands-on 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations within a food manufacturing facility.  In this role, you will lead floor teams, drive production efficiency and maintain strict adherence to quality, safety and regulatory standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct daily manufacturing activities, manage line schedules, and optimize output to achieve volume goals while maintaining high team morale.
  • Enforce adherence to OSHA, HACCP, GMPs, and internal quality/food safety guidelines; participate in routine facility audits and oversee product changeovers.
  • Track production metrics, identify operational bottlenecks, reduce waste, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor floor staff, coordinate onboarding/training for new hires, manage attendance, and foster a collaborative team culture.
  • Oversee inventory, labor, and equipment allocation; accurately log production data into the ERP system to maintain operational visibility.
  • Build cross-departmental operational knowledge to support business continuity and provide supervisory coverage as needed.

 

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in a food, beverage, or CPG manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with GMPs, HACCP, and food safety standards highly preferred.
  • Schedule: Must be available to work 2nd shift hours.
