Production Supervisor

Are you a hands-on manufacturing leader who thrives in a fast-paced production environment? Our client, a leading organization in manufacturing support, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the Swing Shift team in a precision injection molding facility. In this role, you will oversee production operators and technicians, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals are met while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.

Location: Santa Rosa, CA
Pay Rate: $41.64 - $52.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Assignment Type: Temporary

What You'll Do

As the Production Supervisor, you'll be responsible for leading daily manufacturing operations and ensuring production targets are achieved efficiently and safely. A typical day includes managing team performance, troubleshooting production challenges, coordinating work schedules, and maintaining high standards for quality and operational excellence.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Lead and support swing shift production operators and technicians.
• Schedule, assign, and oversee daily production activities.
• Ensure production output meets delivery schedules and business priorities.
• Provide technical support to keep equipment and production lines running efficiently.
• Troubleshoot production issues and escalate concerns when needed.
• Coach, train, and develop employees while managing performance.
• Monitor and drive key metrics including production schedules, quality standards, and production yields.
• Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and selecting new team members.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Manufacturing production experience, preferably in a regulated environment.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of injection molding processes is a strong plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
• Understanding of inventory management, demand flow technology, production processes, and manufacturing systems.
• Relevant certifications, technical training, or industry coursework are a plus.
