This role is central to managing daily operations, driving efficiency, and maintaining clear communication between the production floor and senior management. The ideal candidate is hands-on, solutions-focused, and capable of supporting a bilingual team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
· Supervise, train, and support a diverse production team to meet daily output goals and quality standards.
· Create and maintain production schedules; prepare weekly reports and collaborate with the Operations Supervisor on performance metrics.
· Oversee adherence to all production processes and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
· Review inspection and quality documents for accuracy; work with Engineering to resolve issues and improve efficiency.
· Solve day-to-day production challenges independently, escalating critical issues to leadership when appropriate.
· Execute and train others on all key production tasks, especially those related to major customer requirements.
· Develop training documentation and lead cross-training initiatives to strengthen team versatility.
· Participate in creating work instructions and contribute to operational planning for business growth.
· Conduct performance reviews and assist team members in setting and achieving professional goals.
· Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience required
· 2+ years of experience in a supervisor role within a production, manufacturing, or similar environment in the aerospace, semiconductor, automotive, or related industry required
· 5+ years of progressive warehouse experience within a production, manufacturing, or similar environment in the aerospace, semiconductor, automotive, or related industry required
· Demonstrated knowledge of production processes, machinery, regulatory requirements, and industry standards required
· Proven track record of leading and managing a team within a production or similar setting required
· Highly skilled with various office equipment, computers and various programs including MS Office required
Preferred Qualifications:
· Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing methodologies
· Bachelor’s or Associate degree in manufacturing or related field a plus
· Bilingual in English and Vietnamese
