This role is responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, and employee development while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.
Reporting to an Operations Manager, the Production Supervisor will provide day-to-day leadership, ensure production goals are achieved, and foster a positive, team-oriented workplace culture.

Job DetailsKey Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop hourly production employees in a manufacturing setting
- Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production processes
- Drive production performance, delivery reliability, and waste reduction efforts
- Respond quickly to operational issues and implement effective solutions
- Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
- Coach and mentor employees to improve engagement, accountability, and performance
- Coordinate with maintenance and technical teams to address equipment-related challenges
- Establish work priorities and ensure production objectives are met
Work Schedule:
Please note: This position operates on a rotating schedule consisting of 12-hour shifts:
4:30 AM - 4:30 PM
4:30 PM - 4:30 AM
*Employees rotate between days and nights approximately every 3 to 4 months.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience
- Ability to work in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Leadership, or a related field
- Technical, vocational, apprenticeship, or skilled trades training
- Previous experience in heavy manufacturing, metals, industrial production, or related environments
- Experience working within a unionized workforce
- Exposure to lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or operational excellence programs
