    Description

    The Production Supervisor serves as the front-line leader of the production team. This role is responsible for communicating safety, people, quality, rate, and cost goals to the team, coaching and mentoring remanufacturing technicians, and driving problem-solving to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will challenge the status quo, eliminate waste, and pursue continuous improvement while collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, quality, maintenance, and management.

    • Provide effective supervision and coaching to assigned shift employees to achieve quality and production goals
    • Manage product movement through the production area to ensure continuous processing
    • Ensure standard operating and engineering procedures are current and accurate with all work in compliance for maximum quality
    • Monitor employee compliance with safety regulations and the plant safety program
    • Schedule employees to meet production needs while ensuring time off is consistent with plant policies
    • Provide shift-to-shift communication to align team members on common goals
    • 5+ years in manufacturing, assembly, repair, or remanufacturing
    • 2+ years supervising or leading people
    • Ability to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality and quantity
    • Automotive, battery pack, HV, or thermal/HVAC product background
    • Prior remanufacturing, teardown, or repair leadership experience
    • Experience launching a new line or process
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities and achieve goals
